Ok, I'm gonna bring out my Auntie Katie cap & brag on adorable niece's and nephew for a bit. They had a patriotic assembly had their school yesterday & it was so stinkin' cute! It was so much fun to watch!

I did not fall off the face of the earth - it was worse! I got locked out gmail & blogger!! UGH! I couldn't remember my password (I have it saved on my computer - it logs me in automatically) and I was locked out! Did you know gmail makes you wait FIVE days to recover your password if you don't have access to your secondary email account you listed when you signed up for gmail? Yah, I couldn't wait. I just guessed every password I could have and finally found the right out. I was bummed but determined to get in & I did. :]
We had a very busy weekend in the Lacy family household. Grandma Judy & Papa David are flying in on Friday we were getting the house "company ready" and can I just say, I LOVE having a husband who can CLEAN! He gets set on a mission & he does not stop until he has completed it. Thank you, J! You are the BEST!!
We did yard work yesterday and while we were in the front yard, Addison discovered a ton of butterflies! They were so beautiful!
My dad was completely in love with the montage I made of Addison so he asked me to make one for him & mom. He picked out all the pictures & we scanned them & put them in order. He was so giddy to make it for my mom - he is so cute. It was so much fun to see all the pictures from when they were first married & hear the stories that go along with them.
Addison planted pumpkins seeds at pre-school & got to bring them home last Tuesday. There were 2 originally but sadly, one did not make it. Bummer!
On our way home from school - took a pic with my phone so Daddy could see!
We transfered it to a bigger pot so he can grow strong. We are all excited to see how big he's gonna get. My 7th grade science teacher told me that when you talk to plants, they grow stronger. Something about the carbon dioxide or something. If you don't believe me, click here. See, I told you!! So, since I know Mrs. Clemens wouldn't steer me wrong, I have Addison get her stool out every day & talk to him.
It doesn't look as crazy if the three year old is the one talking to the plant...
Last Sunday, Jason, Addison, & I went to the Race for the Cure in downtown Phoenix. It was so cool! We had such a good time - seeing all the pink was Addison's favorite part!! She LOVED it! We walked in honor of Jamie Daniels, a family friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer in her 20's. She is a survivor as well her Mama, Pammy. They are 2 of the sweetest, most caring ladies & I am blessed to know them! We love you ladies!!
The fam after the walk.
She asked if they had Barbie ones! :]
He was happy to walk for boobs. :]
October is Breast Cancer awareness month - check your self, ladies!!
I loved going to the fair as a kid. Getting to ride the rides, see all the animals, eating the yummy fair food... :] I was lucky enough to be raised in a family that was always around agriculture so going to the fair was a must. We didn't usually have animals at the State Fair but my grandparents run the Farm Tours that are there so we always go & see them. I love taking Addison so she can experience it for her self. This year we went with our sweet friends, the Browns, who happen to be our neighbors across the street. It was so much fun!!
Addison & Dylan are ready to GO!
2 cute chicks!

We had so much fun - thank you, Brown Family for inviting us to go with you! Jen, you need to start a blog!!!
Addison & I made a countdown chain today. We are counting down the days to Halloween & when Grandma Judy & Papa David get here! We are so excited they will here soon! It is going to be so much fun - we're gonna have a blast!
