Monday Miscellany

1.
Holy smokes, this weekend was super busy.  I had 3 photo sessions, served at 4 services of church, attended a birthday dinner in my honor, & we bought Jason a new car. Crazy, right? I just want to lay down for the next 48 hours but I have another session tonight. As tired as I am, I LOVE how busy I am with photography right now - getting to be creative makes me a happy girl!

2.
Jason & I have an artificial tree & I really miss having the aroma of a fresh Christmas tree in our house! I am always on the hunt for a strong smelling Christmas tree scented product. I saw a certain candle that was raved about on a few blogs & twitter so I purchased it. I was so excited to burn it & have my house be filled with the woodsy smell but...

I can't smell it at all! I don't know if I got a dud candle or if it's just really not that great but I am sad nonetheless! My $2 wax cubes from Walmart are actually stronger than the $30 candle I bought. Sad, right?!

3.
It really bothers me when people say "Oh, I'd love to _____ but I just don't have time"...you can fill in the blank with blogging, exercising, reading...really anything. If you REALLY want to do it, you will find the time. Period.

4.

How adorable is this tray? Megan over at In This Wonderful Life is giving one away! Go check it out by clicking here!

5.

And just because they are oh so adorable, I will leave you with a picture of my babes!

Happy Monday!

Isn't is strange how cheaper candles can sometimes smell better than the expensive ones? Huge pet peeve of mine. I also agree with you that you will always have time for the important things in your life no matter how simple they may be! Hope you have a wonderful week!
