Hi! I hope you all are having a fantastic week so far!
Here's what I am loving this week...
Tomorrow I leave for LAS VEGAS!!
Some of my girlfriends & I have been planning this trip for a lonnng time & the time has finally come! We are celebrating my sister Kerri's 40th birthday & our friend Jamie's 30th!
Thing I am most looking forward to?
Sleeping IN! Can't wait!
There has been a buzz on Twitter about this Erin Condren deal from Plum District. I hadn't heard of EC before this so I check out her website. Good golly, her stuff is caaaute! I am in love with basically everything on her website.
The deal deal on Plum District is that you pay $25 for a $50 credit to Erin's website.
If you enter "INWITHNEW"on Plum Districts website BEFORE you check out, you can save 20%!
Her life planners are $50 so I got this one for only $25 bucks! Isn't it cute?! I can't wait to get in the mail!
I also entered "WELCOME10" on the Erin Condren website which saved me 10 bucks! It basically got me free shipping. How fun is that?!
**If you want this deal, you need to HURRY! It ends today!! Click here to get it!**
I am totally lovin' my souvenirs from our Disney trip. I don't usually buy myself souvenirs because they can be kinda pricey but I fell in love with both of these!
My MIL actually bought me this mug. Isn't it cute??
I just loved this bag! I am going to use it as my new bible study bag to keep all my materials together. There are little Mickey's on the orange & white ruffles. Love it!
If you haven't read this book, you totally need to! If you live local, I will totally loan it to you so let me know!
I am almost finished with it & I have loved every second of reading it. It is really good!
I can't wait to see the movie!

When Jason & I joined PVC last year, we knew that we needed to get plugged in the a small group/home team quickly. PVC is a fairly large church and its easy to feel lost in the crowd. Joining a home team allows you to connect with people who are in the same stages of your life & build friendships outside of Sunday worship.
The home team that we joined has been such a blessing to our entire family. We look forward to Tuesday nights so much! When they idea of going camping was thrown out, Jason & I totally jumped on board. We love camping! We decided to camp in Oak Creek Canyon which is just north of Sedona.
Our view driving up. We live in a gorgeous state!
Once we got to camp, our sweet friends, the Tweedies, helped us set up our tent.
Their adorable daughter, Sam, played with Drew while we got things organized. It did NOT take long for him to get in the camping spirit!
We decided to do pizza for dinner that night (what? You don't go for pizza when you camp?) so Jen & I ran to Flagstaff to hit up Papa Johns & Walmart.
After all the families ate their dinner, we huddled around the camp fire to make smores. Adrienne brought all the smore's goodies which included nutella. YUM! They were delicious!
(Notice Jason holding Baby Grace? He loved holding that sweet, tiny baby! Baby fever is rampant.)
The next morning, we were served an awesome breakfast made by the Nunez fam. They brought enough pancake supplies to feed 200 people! Loved their preparedness. After breakfast, we headed off to the creek.
The water was cold so it was nice to cool off in the heat of the day.
Our sweet boy would throw rocks into water for hours on end if we let him. That is his happy place!
That night we enjoyed an awesome dinner cooked by the Hood family. We ate SO well on this trip! It was all so yummy!
We had another night around the campfire. It was so nice to get to hang out with some of our group in a different setting! I really enjoyed getting to know everyone a little bit better & we are already looking forward to the next Hood Home Team camping trip!
We rented out the local pool which was so much FUN! We had the whole place to ourselves. I am not sure who had more fun between the adults & the kids. Ha! There was a cannonball contest that was a blast & we (the adults too!) all took turns down the huge slide.
We celebrated my nephew, Justin, & my niece, Emily, birthdays as well!
I hope everyone had a great weekend! Our was great - we got a lot of deep cleaning done. The kiddos closets & our garage are looking mighty organized now! Yayy.
Friday night, Jason & I decided to rent a redbox movie. I jumped online & saw Green Lantern was there & quickly reserved it. Jason went on his merry way to pick up our movie & called me once he got to Fry's.
"Katie, you rented Green Lantern - the cartoon."
Well, whoopsie. I clearly am not up to date on what movies are in theaters because Green Lantern only opened a month ago thus making it non-rentable at Red Box.
Our church just announced that we are going to add another campus! I am super excited. Since we are currently in the middle of the Twitter series, our pastor sent out the message via tweet. How fun is that? I love Twitter & I love it even more now that a lot of people I know in real life are "tweeters!" Makes Twitter so much fun to see all the PVCers tweeting out their #pvctweets!
Can someone please kindly tell me where the last 2 years went to?
This tiny little baby boy will be 2 on Sunday & I just can't believe it.
I am thinking Operation Baby Lacy #3 needs to start here in the near future.
