Healthy Train Tuesday...On Thursday.


Hey friends! Sorry for the radio silence. The sickies have invaded our house & just decided not to leave. Yay. I am late linking up with Sam but better late than never, right??

This Week's Loss +2 pounds. Booo.


Pounds to goal weight:  30

What I craved this week: Ya'll. Last weekend my eating sucked. I usually have one "cheat" meal a week. That's something I can look forward to & between my weeklies/AP, I am usually good. Well, I had cheat meals Thursday night, Friday night, & allllll day on Saturday. WTF, mate? I knew better but I made bad choices & am now cleaning up the mess. 

What I noticed was different about my body: When I eat clean, I feel good. When I eat crap, I feel bloated. 

Workouts I did this week: I've ran 4 times this week. 
Sunday - 2.87 miles
Monday 4.51 miles
Wednesday - 4.53 miles
Today - 2.97 miles

I am liking all these AP I am collecting this week!



I also hit the gym on Tuesday for the stairclimber. I like to watch Netflix on the stairclimber but I am all caught up on PLL. Any suggestions on what to watch?? 

Personal Goal for this week: Stick with one "cheat" meal this weekend. Weekends are hard but with the right planning, I can be successful!

What I’m looking forward to: Killing these 2 extra pounds & murdering a couple more of their little friends! I also got a pair of capris from Gap for a major steal. I paid like 4 bucks for them & they are about 8 pounds away from fitting comfortably. I am looking forward to WEARING THOSE! :]

New recipes of the week
I made Skinnytaste's baked ziti last night. Only I had rigatoni on hand so it was baked rigatoni. Anyways, this dish was SO GOOD & the best part? My kids ate it! WAHOO! It had about an cup & half of sauteed spinach in it & Addy kept asking if the green stuff was herbs. I *may* have said yes. To which she gleefully exclaimed " I LOVE HERBS!" Ha! I will lie in order to get my kids to eat their veggies.

I feel like I am on a space ship shooting laser beams when I am listening to this song. 


And you know that I am loving the Harlem Shake. 


P.S.

I snowed here yesterday. I LIVE IN ARIZONA. When I left my house to go for my run, I knew it had been raining & it was cold. As soon as I saw this dark cloud I thought to myself "Self, you better run fast."

This was about 1/2 way into my run. Thankfully at this point, I turned & was running parallel to the storm. 

Look at that! That is a SNOW CLOUD over PHOENIX. Eep!!


This was about 3/4 of the way through. Ahhh, blue skies & then sun was a shinin'. Yay for not getting rained on (or snowed on?!?!)
