Happy Monday! Weekends go by way too fast.
Right?
Friday we met our neighbors at a park for a picnic. It was gorgeous day!
Saturday afternoon, I shot an engagement session at Scottsdale Civic Center. The groom put his glasses & hat on at the end for a few pictures - doesn't he look like Vanilla Ice?
The fam bam tagged along & the plan was to go Fashion Square after the session but Drewski started running a fever while we were there. I had grand ideas of taking Valentine pictures on the LOVE sign but Drew was not into it at all. This is the best I got & taken on my iPhone, no less.
We had been talking about getting cupcakes from Sprinkles. We were so close to the cupcake shop so we ran up & grabbed a cupcake for each of us.
My poor dude was not feeling it - he wanted to go home. We grabbed some motrin & headed west towards Casa de Lacy!
Once we got home & settled the kiddos in bed, it was cupcake time! I had picked red velvet & Jason picked milk chocolate. My cupcake was super good! It was our first Sprinkles experience & I must say, it lived up to the expectation!
Drew's fever stuck around on Sunday so we hung low while Daddy & Addy went to church. I made bayou brownies to enjoy while we watched the Super Bowl. I ran out of space while I was stating my pick to win. Go Raven - whoops. (Side note - I am not necessarily a Ravens fan. I like purple better than red - thats how I picked the team to root for.)
Most of the Super Bowl watching consisted of this. Little dude just does not feel good. I have a call into the doc to see whats going on.

Your weekend out in the sunshine makes me longgggggg for home, girl! not homegirl. But yeah, you could be my homegirl too. hahaha
New Follower, I found you from Steph (see comment above!). I am also jealous of your nice weather. I also prefer purple, but the Raven(s) are huuuge rivals in Pittsburgh so I was anti-purple for the day. I hope your little man feels better (love the mohawk).
